Owner’s son totaled my car as he backed up onto Main St (in a customers vehicle I should add) without looking and floored it reversing about 25 mph. At first, he was very apologetic stating that it was in fact his fault. The father (owner) comes out and ensures me he’ll call his insurance and this and that. Well, long story short— a grown man lied and conned me (24 year old young woman who had never been in an accident before.) Threatening me over the phone saying “he’s going to try and pin this on me.” In the end, it wasn’t worth the battle to me. Regardless, I would have expected a lot more out of this grown man. Not only bc he is the OWNER of this business, but I would think his business’s reputation would mean everything to him? Maybe not? His behavior and attitude throughout the ordeal didn’t reflect a respectable and honest business owner and that was disappointing to say the least. I hope his son learned from it at least and knows now that you shouldn’t floor it backing up onto a MAIN street without even looking or having absolutely no regard for anything or anyone around him.
