We have lived in Reading 13 years. We had a mechanic in North Reading who closed his shop over a year ago. We needed a new mechanic and King’s automotive was highly recommended. I can see why. Having never been there before, I made an appointment for our Sienna prior to driving the vehicle 1000 miles to give to our daughter. I felt the owner was honest as he said the car only needed an oil change, everything else was fine. He could have told me it needed this or that, and I would have believed him. Refreshing to have a new auto mechanic to rely on. Thank you. I will be bringing my RAV 4 in for service in the future.

I've had two interactions with this shop. The first time, I got kind of a weird rude/vibe but they were (and are busy) so I didn't think anything of it. They completed the repairs no problem, and the price felt fine. The second, I called to ask about pricing ahead of time andI got answered with a "maybe, we are kind of busy". The whole conversation felt so off. Seems like good mechanics with weak customer service skills. They should consider hiring a receptionist or something.

We where very busy. I said I couldn't get you the estimate right away and that I would call you back. I then asked for the car info and you said you didn't have it. I apologize if I was rude that was not my intention

I had an issue with my air conditioning and I was concerned the dealership might escalate the issue. Kings Auto resolved it and took the time to explain to me what the problem was. I am in town visiting with my daughter and her family. I had noticed that something was hanging down under the front end of my car and my brakes were making noise. My son in law who goes to King’s highly recommended them. I completed their appointment questionnaire and they scheduled me on a Wednesday. I called Monday morning to see if I could get in earlier and they told me to drop it off Tuesday am and they would try to fit me in. I dropped the car off at 9am. They called me to tell me I needed front brakes, the cost and that it would be done that day. It was at a fair price! I can’t say enough about this experience. It was great and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to them again!!!
